eBOOK INFORMATION
To log onto Destiny, Destiny Quest, and Follett Shelf you will use the following:
Log into View It to find the following information:
User name: the name used for your Google Docs email.
Password: stu+the last five digits of your social (listed as "State ID")
Read eBooks and listen to audio books on a iTouch, Iphone, Android phone, laptop or desktop computer.
From the Conroe ISD Homepage (www.conroeisd.net – If using a mobile device choose to see the Conroe ISD Full Site) click on:
*Schools
*Wilkerson
*Library (if using mobile device click on the “mobile version” of the site)
*Follett Shelf To access the eBooks & audio books on Follett Shelf:
*Log in with Destiny username and password.
*Search for eBooks or type in "audio" to get list of only audio books.
*Select eBook or audio book.
*Open
*Once book is open, click on the backpack picture to check out the book.
*Once the book is checked out it will remain in your backpack for 7 days.
Each time you login to read click on the backpack picture to find your book. Also click on the backpack to close your book when it is open. You have the option to return it early on the My Checkout screen in your backpack.
Important information:
*You may check out one eBook at a time.
*The book is automatically checked in after 7 days.
Follett Shelf Information
Follett Digital Reader App
1. Download Brytewave K-12 to your devices at Wilkerson Intermediate by connecting to CISD Wireless. You will need your username and password.
2. Using the app: The first time you use the app you will need the following information:
Address: wbb08064 (type in the first box when you open the app)
Username: (use your school username)
Password: (last five digits of your social security numer) Fill in the information and click “Connect”.
Click on “Check out more books” to view eBooks & audio books in Follett Shelf.
Connecting to the wireless network at school:
Log onto the CISD Network Open up your network settings and choose CISD Wireless (not CISD Guest-you must disconnect from CISD Guest in order to connect to CISD Wireless). Once it shows your device has found and connected to the network you must then open your device’s browser (for Apple devices it is Safari) and wait for the Web Authentication screen to open (it is a blue/green screen). Once it is open you must log in with your username and password. If you do not do this you will not be logged onto our network.
eReader Lending Program
Wilkerson Intermediate Library eReader Lending Program
The Wilkerson Library now offers Simple Touch Nooks for our patrons to borrow. Please read the policy below and sign and return the second page of the form.
1) e Readers are available for a two week loan period. Renewal of an eReader is at the discretion of the library staff. Parents/Guardians on record will receive an email from the library staff when a Nook is checked out by the student.
2) Do not attempt to add or delete eBooks from the eReader. A specific set of eBooks are loaded onto each device. The eReaders have been locked by the CISD Technology Department and any attempt to override this will result in a consequence.
3) Recharge the eReader before you return it to the library.
4) Extraordinary care must be taken with the eReader until it is checked back into the Library. This includes financial responsibility for CISD and Wilkerson Intermediate in the event the device and/or accompanying accessories are damaged or lost.
5) Return the eReader to the librarian or library assistant directly.
6) By checking out an eReader on your library account, you agree to accept full responsibility for the proper handling, authorized use, and condition of the device while in your possession. You are responsible for the retail value of the device and for any accessories accompanying it if they are lost or damaged.
Privileges will be revoked if policy is not followed.
